Our Story
The Sheffield Veterinary Clinic opened it's doors in 1977 and has operated without a break in the same location since then. In that time there have been 4 owners:
Dr. Lyndall Dunlop, Dr. Ian Anderson, Dr. Kendall Crocker and Dr. Michael Reilly.
Over the past 50 or so years, Sheffield has changed from a struggling farming community to a popular tourist attraction and a gateway to Cradle Mountain. It has also managed to remain a supporting town for the rural community. We have also changed to support the community. In addition to large animal services, we offer an extensive range of small animal services. We have also grown from a single-vet practice to employing 3 vets and 13 support staff (11 including Ellie).
