The Sheffield Veterinary Clinic aims to make each and every interaction special.
We strive to give each client and their furred, feathered or scaled friend the care and respect that we feel everybody deserves.
We also feel that our team is special. We strive to support each other both at work and in our wider lives.
Our Story
The Sheffield Veterinary Clinic opened it's doors in 1977 and has operated without a break in the same location since then. In that time there have been 4 owners:
Dr. Lyndall Dunlop, Dr. Ian Anderson, Dr. Kendall Crocker and Dr. Michael Reilly.
Over the past 50 or so years, Sheffield has changed from a struggling farming community to a popular tourist attraction and a gateway to Cradle Mountain. It has also managed to remained a supporting town for the rural community. We have also changed to support the community. In addition to large animal services, we offer an extensive range of small animal services. We have also grown from a single-vet practice to employing 4 vets and 10 support staff (11 including Ellie).
